Definitions
References to "Brompton Minicabs," "we," or "us" pertain to the service-providing company. "You" and "your" may refer to any individual, business, or entity making a booking with us.
Booking
2.1 It is essential to allocate sufficient time for your journey to ensure punctuality, especially for airport transfers requiring timely check-ins. We shall not be held responsible for delays resulting from inadequate time allocation or failure to be ready for pickup at the scheduled time.
2.2 You are responsible for selecting a vehicle size suitable for passengers and luggage. We do not guarantee the transportation of excessive luggage. Each child, regardless of age, counts as a single passenger.
2.3 Requests for wheelchair accessibility should be made at the time of booking.
Prices & Payment
3.1 Quotations provided by Brompton Minicabs are based on information provided by you. Prices are exclusive of VAT unless otherwise stated. Material changes to the itinerary may result in quote adjustments.
3.2 Our quote includes a 45-minute waiting period after the scheduled landing time and covers airport parking fees. Additional waiting time will be charged at the standard rate. While we endeavor to accommodate flight delays, we are not obligated to do so.
3.3 Upon accepting our quote, you will receive a booking confirmation. Please review the confirmation carefully to ensure accuracy. Failure to notify us of any discrepancies may result in delays or additional costs.
3.4 Payment for our services can be made via cash, credit card, or debit card.
The Service
4.1 You are responsible for the conduct of all passengers during the journey. Any damage or soiling of the vehicle may incur cleaning charges.
4.2 Eating, drinking, or smoking in the vehicle is prohibited.
4.3 Children must be appropriately restrained based on their height, weight, and age.
4.4 We adhere to passenger limits set by licensing and insurance regulations.
Cancellations
5.1 Notify us as soon as possible if you need to cancel your booking. Cancellation charges may apply if a vehicle has been dispatched.
5.2 Cancellation charges may apply for online bookings canceled before dispatch.
Liability
6.1 While we strive for punctuality, we are not liable for losses due to uncontrollable delays. We assume no liability for any losses incurred by you or your business.
6.2 Luggage is transported at your own risk.
6.3 In the event of a breakdown, we will arrange an alternative vehicle to minimize disruption to your journey.
6.4 You agree to indemnify us against expenses, damages, costs, or losses resulting from any actions or omissions of individuals in your party.
6.5 Nothing in this agreement excludes or limits liability for personal injury or death caused by negligence, fraudulent misrepresentation, or as prohibited by applicable law.
Termination
7.1 We reserve the right to terminate or refuse a booking immediately if the safety of our vehicle or driver is compromised by you or any passenger. No refunds will be issued for terminated journeys.
Miscellaneous
8.1 We may subcontract obligations outlined in this agreement. You may not assign, delegate, or transfer any rights or obligations under this agreement.
8.2 We reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Please review them regularly for updates. Existing bookings will be honored at the rates in effect at the time of booking.
8.3 We handle information following the Data Protection Act of 1988.
8.4 This agreement constitutes the entire agreement between Brompton Minicabs and you.
8.5 Third parties do not have rights under this agreement unless otherwise specified in writing.
Disputes
Any disputes or claims must be made within 30 days of the booking pickup date. Claims made after this timeframe may not be entertained.
